FAQ

How are Hues & Fables prints made?
Our art prints are printed using 2880dpi fine art printing technology, using UltraChromeTM HD archival pigment inks that has a high print permanence rating. Also known as Giclée printing, this is high resolution, archival-grade digital printing that produces gallery quality prints of exceptional detail, colour and tone.

How are your prints authenticated?
All our prints are marked with the H&F stamp on the reverse.

Do you do framing?
Hues & Fables does not provide framing options. All prints come unframed and come in sizes that readily fit into standard sized picture frames.

Will I receive the prints exactly as pictured?
Please allow slight variations between the colours you see on screen and that in the final product. Whilst every effort is made to best represent the products online, the colours you see will be dependent on how your computer is calibrated. All products are made-to-order, as such, slight variations can occur.

How are your prints packaged and shipped?
Small prints that are A4 or smaller in size are packaged in cello with a backing board, and are shipped in rigid mailers. Medium to large prints greater than A4 are carefully rolled in acid-free tissue paper, and are shipped in mailing tubes.

If you order multiple items in different sizes, your order may be shipped separately and arrive at different times.

Do you offer international shipping?
Yes we do! Please refer to our shipping information.

What is your returns policy?
In the rare case that your item arrives damaged, we will gladly replace your item with a new one. For Australian customers, if you change your mind on a purchase, we offer a full refund on the cost of the item. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for further information.

How should I handle and care for my prints?
We recommend getting your prints framed as soon as possible. Gently remove your art prints from it’s packaging and handle the prints carefully by the border or edge (with clean hands). Avoid touching the image area. It is best to keep small prints in it's original cello packaging, until you are ready to frame it. For larger prints that come rolled in a mailing tube, we recommend laying them flat onto a safe, flat surface. Keep the image side facing up, and its original tissue paper laid over the top for protection.

Your prints are produced to the highest quality, so you can be assured that they can be enjoyed for a very long time as they are. If however you wish to achieve optimal archiving standards, where applicable, we recommend the use of acid-free mounting/matte boards and adhesive tapes, and if possible, UV resistant glass with your frames. We also recommend placing your framed art prints away from direct sunlight.
